The mentorship program will engage the participation of more experienced members of the chamber to help nurture these start-up companies through their first two years. This is an opportunity for successful business owners in our community to give the gift of experience and knowledge to assist in the success of others. Mentors commit to a monthly review of financial statements, semi-annual business plan reviews, and assist in drafting a long-range plan upon completion of the program.
Mentors must also meet the following criteria:
1. Be a current Chamber member
2. Must have started or been an integral part of the growth of a company
3. Has been in business at least five years or has equivalent experience
If you have an interest in being a mentor for the Business Accelerator Program, please contact Amanda Runnels at 824-2818.
